Hilary’s baby joy has come at a price — her pregnancy has already cost her a job!
Movie bosses confirmed they’re looking for a new actress to play bank robber Bonnie Parker, right after Hilary Duff announced she was expecting a baby with husband Mike Comrie!
Hilary was scheduled to star alongside Kevin Zegers in The Story of Bonnie and Clyde, a remake of the classic 1967 movie starring Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway. But her baby bump means she’ll be putting her feet up instead of holding up banks!
A source tells TMZ.com the decision is amicable: “Hilary won’t be available until next June. If we could wait we would.”
If she ISN’T happy with the move, the actress could be heading for a HUGE payday. Hunter Tylo won a staggering $4.8 million in court when pregnancy cost her a role in TV show Melrose Place!
Meanwhile, there’s at least one person in Hollywood who will be thrilled with the news Hilary’s OFF the movie… Faye Dunaway.
When she was told Hilary was taking on the role, the icon, who was Oscar nominated for her part in the original film, sniped, “Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?”
Not everyone’s a fan of her acting — but we’re sure she’ll make a fantastic mom!
