Even though Imogen hasn’t read the ‘Twilight’ books, she says she can see why everyone is ‘fascinated’ by Rob and Kristen — isn’t that so sweet?

Imogen Poots totally understands why you have Twi-fever! The 22-year-old actress is starring in her own vampire flick right now, Fright Night and she tells HollywoodLife.com that Twilight‘s success isn’t just luck — it’s all because of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart!

“I think Kristen and Rob are great actors,” she tells us. “I think Twilight is such a phenomenon because there’s intelligent people behind it. A bright informed guy and a girl. From that perspective I think they’re awesome. I think what’s interesting is why people find it interesting … why people are fascinated by this genre.”

Imogen plays Amy Peterson in Fright Night, who is being chased by the neighborhood’s evil vampire Jerry Dandrige [Colin Farrell].

“I think people should see Fright Night to have a good time because it’s a comedy and horror film,” she says. “It will be good for audiences to understand that the vampire was created to be this predator and to remind them of danger, sexy and forbidden. We’re not making fun of vampires, I think our vampire is something we keep very seriously. It’s a predator and highly sexualized in a way.”
