As the Aug. 15 suicide of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Russell Armstrong continues to shock fans, news is breaking that Russell allegedly beat his estranged wife Taylor before filming the second season — and he even threatened the other housewives when they found out!
Russell, who was 47, allegedly took his aggression out on Taylor, 40, so badly that she required extensive surgery, TMZ reports.
His assault was allegedly so “horrific” that he broke bones in Taylor’s cheeks, sources reveal. At first, she refused to reveal her injuries, but then confided in castmates Camille Grammer and Kyle Richards once she realized she couldn’t film with the injuries.
Predictably, the pair was horrified and suggested she tell Bravo about the assault. When word got back to Russell about her conversation, he sent Camille a “very threatening” e-mail containing “the rantings of a lunatic,” a source said.
This story is more and more depressing by the day.
