In spite of Russell Armstrong’s suicide, Bravo simply pushes the ‘Beverly Hills’ premiere back instead of shelving the series completely.
Bravo has made the decision to delay the premiere of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills at least one week in order to be respectful about the Aug. 15 suicide of star Russell Armstrong. But as the pics of his estranged wife Taylor hit the internet, fans are wondering if the series should just be yanked from the airwaves altogether!
Sources close to the production say that in the wake of the death, the premiere of the show will be delayed at least a week, The Hollywood Reporter reports.
“People are concerned about being associated with the show and his passing,” a source reveals.
Although the show was slated to begin on Sept. 5, the delay will not turn into a cancellation, as Bravo hopes that with mild editing they can still air the ratings juggernaut.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers — should Bravo rethink their decision or are they doing the right thing?
