Since Kim has reportedly had to disinvite guests at the last minute from her August 20th wedding due to space issues, here’s how she can do it in the least rude way.
Kim Kardashian allegedly rescinded the invitations of some of stepdad Bruce Jenner’s extended family and any plus ones that were not specified. Unfortunately, Kim is getting an unfair wrap for being a bridezilla. Perhaps she and her wedding coordinator were guilty of poor planning, yet I do not believe it was the intention of Kim or her fiancé Kris Humphries to disappoint or hurt any of their guests’ feelings. Hopefully, Kim handled the disinviting with care and yes there is a proper way to do it.
Honesty Is Best: We all make mistakes. Kim and Kris should issue a sincere apology citing the reasons why they had to disinvite the guests immediately.
Gifting Suite: The soon-to-be newlyweds must return any and all gifts from disinvited guests. To keep them would be in extremely poor taste.
Que Sera, Sera: The celebrity couple will definitely offend some of their former guests. They should not expect people to be forgiving — at least not right away. After the wedding is over, it would be a wise idea for Kim and Kris to put together a small party for the guests that were unable to partake in this weekend’s festivities.
