Come on, after four months of production we expected more — these dolls look nothing like Wills and Kate!
Today, August 19, one of the biggest toy shops in the world, Hamleys, debuted Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s royal wedding dolls after almost four months of production. But to be honest, these figurines, that cost $165 for the pair and $80.00 individually, don’t really do the royal couple justice — they’re heads are huge and sort of awkward looking, right?
Launched by the British toy company Arklu, the dolls were put together by an array of designers, who tried to perfectly mimic everything about their wedding looks, from Kate’s makeup down to her under garments!
The mini version of Kate comes complete with a recreation of her Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen royal wedding dress, Dower and Hall tiara and bouquet of seasonal flowers.
Prince William‘s doll is dressed in his specially commissioned scarlet Irish Guards colonel’s uniform and a replica Forage Cap! How cool!
“The instantly recognizable and, some might say, delightfully kitsch wedding dolls pay homage to the stunning best-of-British outfits that so impressed the world when HRH Prince William of Wales married Catherine ‘Kate’ Middleton on April 29, 2011,” Arklu released in a statement.
And for every every Princess Catherine Wedding Doll or Royal Wedding Dolls set sold, $1.65 will be donated to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

Wow, Allison, those are amazing! Jack and Evie are so bieutaful. My favorites are the one where she is telling him a secret and the one where they are leaning against the fence, laughing. You can tell they share a special relationship. Dana, I know you are thrilled!
