In the wake of Russell Armstrong’s devastating death, Bravo is changing up edited season 2 episodes of ‘RHOBH’ to make the show more sensitive to Taylor Armstrong’s situation.

The unexpected and shocking news that Russell Armstrong hung himself earlier this week has reportedly made Bravo frantic to amend The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Re-editing is already underway to keep the show on schedule.

While Hollywood is still reeling over Russell’s suicide, there is already speculation that the second season premiere will be pushed back from it’s slated Sept. 5 date. However, Bravo network president, Frances Berwick, set the record straight by dispelling those rumors to Variety.

“Contrary to what is being reported, we have not made a decision to change our original premiere date but we are in the process of re-editing the show,” he said.

While it is reported that Russell was not in the first episode press screeners that were send out to the media, the subject of his and Taylor’s crumbling relationship are reported to be one of the main story lines of season two. Now, with re-edits, their storyline could become a very small part of season two, if not eliminated all together.

Taylor has retained a low profile since receiving the news of Russell’s death and has asked for privacy during this difficult time.
