The ‘Real Housewives’ star is in charge of putting her husband to rest. Unfortunately, injuries from his suicide will make planning difficult.

The aftermath of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Russell Armstrong‘s Aug. 15 suicide is becoming real for his estranged wife Taylor, who is said to be planning services to lay him to rest.

Taylor has the unenviable task of organizing the final ceremonies for Russell, RadarOnline.com reports.

“I have been notified by Taylor’s attorney that she is making the memorial arrangements for Russell,” his attorney Ronald Richards says. “Taylor wants to plan the memorial for Russell, after all, they were married. I know that Russell’s mother wants to take his body back to Texas and have him buried though — but, that will be for Taylor and Russell’s mom to figure out.”

That said, the funeral — which is thought to take place sometime next week — will be closed casket, RadarOnline.com also reports.

“He was hanging for so long that his neck was almost detached from his body,” his stepbrother Wade Jackson says. “His body is all swollen, bruised and bloated and so the family is not going to be able to have an open casket at the funeral.”

We hope Taylor and her family are able to find some peace through this process.

I’m deeply sadden by this. I watched the show and my view of Russell…an extremely hard worker who works non-stop to provide for his family. How very sad.
