The ladies and producers have an emergency meeting at Adrienne Maloof’s mansion to discuss the next steps.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Russell Armstrong‘s Aug. 15 suicide shocked America, and now the new season of the show featuring his interaction with estranged wife Taylor is in limbo.

Producers of the show met with the Housewives cast at Adrienne Maloof‘s mansion on Aug. 17, in order to process their grief and figure out a next step with a ‘crisis’ meeting, RadarOnline.com reports. After all, the show is set to begin airing in just a month!

“It was a somber meeting,” an eyewitness says. “Everyone in the room was still in mourning and simply shocked by Russell’s death. The people at Bravo just want to do the appropriate thing. Their first priority is being respectful to Russell, Taylor and their families.”

Bravo executive Andy Cohen also took to his blog on Aug. 17 to write, “We’re all still trying to process [Tuesday's] very sad news, and looking at how to proceed with the series, which has finished primary production and was set to premiere on Labor Day. We’ll let you know what we decide when we do. In the meantime, we’re sending our thoughts and prayers to Taylor and the rest of Russell’s family.”

What do you think, HollywoodLifers — should the new season be cancelled, postponed or be shown as planned?

Bravo absolutely must cancel all the housewives shows.
Andy Cohen has created lots of darkness all around these shows.Husbands commiting suicide, going bankrupt, fighting, beating up cops(Dominican republican),insanity, being bullies, screaming children and must of all there’s no God here.Only plenty of darkness.
Bravo and Andy Cohen they think that money is more important then these people’s lives.Wake up housewives …het out there as soon as you can.Bravo and Andy Cohen wants your soul.

The death of Russell Armstrong but it is no way the networks fault or responsibility to do anything. Although I feel very sympathetic towards his estranged wife and daughter, there is no reason to cancel the show.

We will see how greedy a network can be. I hope they do the right thing. A person is dead. How could anyone watch a person’s demise and actually vow their torment on tv. I was a fan, but I sure would not want to watch that. So sad.
