Jennifer thinks Ben’s ‘the one.’ But Ben’s best friend says Ben’s ‘pretty upset’ about Ashley — and may even decide to do ‘The Bachelor!’
Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is totally into Bachelorette loser Ben Flajnik, but it seems the 28-year-old winemaker just doesn’t feel the same way. Just days after their Aug. 6 date at Lion Pub in San Francisco, Ben tweeted he was single. Well, it seems that Ben’s still not over Ashley Hebert, 27. And while he’s trying to move on, his date with Jennifer, 32, must have not meant much as he’s also been hanging out with former Bachelor contestant Britt Billmaier, 25, and even considering going on his own journey to find love as ABC’s next Bachelor!
Jennifer, who’s faced plenty of heartbreak in the past, may be heading down that same road again. She seems to think that Ben’s “the one,” a friend tells In Touch magazine. “She thinks it’s serious.”
Plus, Jennifer already wants to start a family with Ben. “Her biological clock is ticking,” explains he friend. “She is ready to settle down and start a family.”
But Ben can’t seem to let go of Ashley. “He was pretty upset,” Ben’s best buddy Tyler Wilson says. “His feelings for Ashley seemed real.”
And while Ben’s sill hung up on Ashley, it doesn’t seem that Jennifer is the girl Ben wants to help him move on. He’s getting close to former Bachelor contestant Britt. “We’ve hung out on several occasion,” reveals Brit, even though she affirms that it’s strictly a platonic relationship. “He is a great guy. I think he’d be an awesome Bachelor.”
Becoming the next Bachelor is actually something that Ben might do. “He is thinking long and hard about it,” shares Tyler.
Poor Jennifer’s getting her hopes up for no reason. BFFs — do you think Ben’s going to break her heart?
