Letting Little Girls Go Topless Like Heidi Klum’s Daughter, Leni, 7, Is Great For Their Body Confidence!

Heidi Klum is smart to let her little daughter do what comes naturally and go topless on the beach.

Don’t you agree that it’s so sweet to let little girls just be comfortable and be able to play on the beach as carefree as little boys.

Why should little girls be sexualized by having to hide their chests, which are as underdeveloped as a baby’s? Why do we bother covering up a little girls breasts when they aren’t breasts yet? Why should we anticipate that in 3 or 4 years, they will begin to develop as their hormones change.

Right now — Leni is just a child and a bikini top is just an aggravation. She has two younger brothers who are running around topless playing with her on the beach — let her be as unencumbered as they are.

Little girls would develop more body confidence if they weren’t “sexualized” at an early age, by being made aware that they have “boobs.”

Let them be “boob” free for as long as possible!

Children at that age have no boobs to show and there is nothing wrong with a little girl going topless to the beach because they have just the same build as a 7 year old boy would BUT taking her to a naked beach where there is ADULTS naked is not okay , why would you let your child see all those naked woman AND EVEN MEN! No that should not be aloud because now SHE thinks thats she is like all the other people being sexualised like them. Not right but at any other beach its fine because she is just a child but not seeing any naked adults.

I have to agree with other posters who stated that the girl looked uncomfortable being next to her topless mother, and am also curious as to how the photo is considered legal. With that established, I will say this. There are some sick folks in this world nowadays. I don’t know where Ms. Klum and her daughter were, but if both were going to go topless they should have gone to a private beach. We don’t even know if they were in an area where being topless or nude is legal.

First of all saying that pedophiles “fantacize” about “stalk, molest, and in extreme cases rape and kill young children” is as false as saying that heterosexuals fantacize about stalking, molesting or rape women. Just because you are attracted towards children doesnt mean you are a sick pervert.

If it’s just around family, I wouldn’t see a problem whatsoever! But in public, you don’t know what is going through certain people’s minds when they see a little girl like that. Not everyone has pure thoughts and thinks children are innocent. I wouldn’t let my little girl be on a public beach without a bathing suit top on. But if it was just family and around the house, that’s fine. But probably no older then 3 or 4 years old.

That’s like saying that cops are criminals because they fight crime. It’s not inappropriate just because I or anyone else ‘say so’. It’s inappropriate because it’s a young girl without the experience necessary to decide if she wants her mostly naked body posted all over the web. It’s inappropriate because it’s eye candy for pedophiles, which by the way, look and act like everyone else most of the time. The rest of the time they fantacize about, stalk, molest, and in extreme cases rape and kill young children. You can not remove these people from any audience. Wholy unbelievable kiddy pimp-out. Heidi and Bonnie just hit all-time lows. This didn’t take place in the backyard in the presence of family. It took place on a public beach swarming with paparazzi. Now the photos are all over the internet. Nevermind the potential downside like a few more raped, ripped, and dead little girls. It’s all about instilling ‘body confidence’ in a 7 year old. I’m way beyond annoyed this time. It’s god damn reckless and irresponsible to post such a photo and make such such a disgusting excuse for it.

While I don’t see anything wrong with a kid being dressed or naked at young ages I also don’t consider covering the chest or other parts of the body to be demoralizing for any human being.

There is such a thing as modesty and if you dress your child modestly from a young age and get them accustomed to it then it won’t be some huge shock or change if you expect a little modesty when they reach an age where it is necessary.

Modesty serves to protect them from predators (at young and older ages) and it also serves to protect society from immorality when people aren’t showing off all their charms in the streets for anyone and everyone who passes by to see. In my opinion, covering up and teaching your child that your body has a value and it’s not just something to be given away freely in the streets does more for the morale than anything else.

Again – not saying it’s wrong for a kid to be topless but another point I’d like to make is that a swimsuit top or a 1 piece swimsuit is NOT something cumbersome or difficult to maneuver in. The article is written in such a way to suggest that a bikini top is like wearing a straight jacket or something! I could keep up with and have fun with my siblings just fine with a swimsuit top on as a kid.

2)Male and female breasts are anatomically pretty much the same. The biggest differences are milk and the amount of fat tissue in them. There really is no legitimate reason for the fact that it’s “customary” for women to cover their breasts, other than society wanting to make women feel ashamed of their bodies. It’s BS. And in my city it’s legal for women to go topless. I’m a little ashamed of my body but I’m glad that that’s an option in my city. One small step at a time.

There’s nothing wrong with a little girl going topless with her mommy in a private topless beach. There is something wrong with a website and the photographer who exposes this little girl without a BLACK BAND over her chest to protect her privacy from crazy sex deviants who is going to save this picture for their own sick use. I won’t be surprise if the parents sue your website for exposing their little girl to the public.

I’m sad that a photographer felt it necessary to invade the privacy of this mother and daughter at the beach (considering it is illegal to take pictures at a nude beach in Europe) however there is nothing morally wrong with it. When children are 7, boys and girls look the same. In fact letting a young girl normalize her body by seeing other women’s bodies keeps her self esteem healthy. The only reason I would cover a child that age would be for sun protection, boy or girl.

For everyone saying that this picture is disgusting for the editors to post because the little girl is “topless” when honestly there is nothing there to even cover! What is the difference between this and people who take pictures of their young daughters at home and they dont have a shirt on and running around playing? A lot of people I know have posted those type of pics on their social networking sites and no one has a problem with it there. I am an American and I think that those of you that comment on this being wrong have something sick in your heads. For crying out loud. There is nothing sexual about a little girl going “topless” at the beach. When I was a little girl in the 60′s I often ran around like this, as did many other little girls. I understand that there are pedofiles out there but do we really need to rob children of there childhoods and burden them with body issues because there are sick people in the world? NO! I am sure that Heidi and Seal are teaching their children responsibly about strangers and I applaud Heidi for her healthy approach with her daughter. Americans do tend to be very uptight about their bodies and I think it is a shame.

Its just sad, that this is even worth writing about! Heartbreaking, I can not even imagine the body issues you are “breeding” with this sort of perverted thinking that a young child needs to be hiding its body.
