Ruth is reportedly so upset that her only living son has shunned her that she’s willing to divorce the man she married at 18 — should she do it?
Ruth Madoff, wife of disgraced ponzi scheme ring leader Bernie Madoff, is thinking about leaving her husband in the dust. New reports from Fox News and CBS claim Ruth, 70, is so devastated that she was turned away from her eldest son Mark’s funeral in December, that she is considering taking a reported ultimatum from her remaining son Andrew: it’s either dad or us.
Ruth met Bernie, 73, when she was just 13-years-old, married him at 18 — and together they had two sons, Mark and Andrew. Mark’s untimely death was ruled a suicide by hanging and was reportedly a result of the scandal that tore their family a part.
The New York Post reported that when Ruth arrived at Mark’s memorial service, his widow reportedly turned her away. Ruth is said to have been “heartbroken” and is “focusing on rebuilding” her relationship with her only surviving son.
Bernie is currently serving a 150-year jail sentence as the man responsible for the largest investment fraud in history.

What a hypocrite she is proving to be (like we did not know this already). She knew EXACTLY what her husband was up to all those years, she supported him throughout the trial and after allowing deals to be made to make sure she continued to live a life of luxury unlike most of their victims. Now, boo hoo her son does not want anything to do with her so now she wants a divorce! I bet this has more to do with civil suits etc than what they are claiming.
