These two can’t catch a break! Do you hope Annie & Liam pull through, or is it time they split for good?

The fourth season of 90210 will bring some major changes for the recent West Bev grads, but Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Liam’s (Matt Lanter) troubled relationship definitely isn’t one of them. ”Liam and Annie were kind of on the rocks [at the end of last season],” Matt told HollywoodLife.com on Aug. 14 at the 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards. “And we come back… but we may be on the rocks again.”

But even though Matt told us “there might be some heartache for fans of Annie and Liam,” it won’t take long for Liam to find a new girl to keep him busy.

“There’s a new lady,” Matt admitted. “There’s always a lady in Liam’s life! I don’t know if it’s going to be a long-term or a short-term thing, so I guess you’ll just have to watch and find out.”

Of course, Liam will also be occupied by his rapidly-growing bank account — and a mysterious new purchase.

“Liam comes into a big sum of money and makes a huge purchase that’s going to be a big part of him this season,” Matt revealed.
