The ABC comedy decided to change things up this summer and bring in an older child actor to take over the role of Mitchell & Cameron’s adopted daughter! Are you excited?
Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, 4, has replaced adorable twins Jaden and Ella Hiller, who played Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cameron’s (Eric Stonestreet) adopted daughter, Lily! And producers says Aubrey’s a natural!
“She really enjoys the process,” executive producer Steve Levitan tells Entertainment Weekly. “And she looks just like Jaden and Ella! When we had her do a scene, she sounded natural — not like a cutesy kid actor.”
This new addition will bring a different dynamic to the show, as Lily ended last season at around two years old. Are you excited for the new season of Modern Family?

I will watch it of course but i don’t like the fact that they are skipping a bunch of years
