Maddox Jolie-Pitt Lands His First Ever Acting Role — Playing A Pint-Sized Comic Book Hero!

The 10-year-old has been cast in ‘Battling Boy’ by his dad Brad Pitt’s own production company!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s oldest child Maddox will fight monsters in the movie, based on a real life graphic novel! We can’t wait to see him in action!

“The film [Battling Boy] is based on a graphic novel about the young son of a god who leaves his mountain-top home to fight monsters,” a source tells the Daily Star. “It’s being produced by Brad’s Plan B production company.

“Maddox lives, eats and breathes movies and comic books, so Brad and Angelina thought he would be perfect for the starring role.”

Brad snapped up the movie rights to Battling Boy before the book was published in 2010. He must have known Maddox was perfect for the part!

I agree I think this is mom and dad wanting their brood to become stars like they were. It is obvious both brad and angelina are has beens. So now they want to continue that hollywood circle by putting their kids in the spotlight. Good thing brad owns a production company. This reminds me of the whole will smith/ jada pinket kids in the limelight thing.

Great that they are nurturing a child’s interests but it is a BAD BAD idea. We have all seen the downside of growing up a child star, this kid has enough on his plate just being the child of a celebrity let alone being one himself. I also wonder is this mom’s idea, keep the connection to dad plus live via her kids since her super stardom seems to have peeked.
