A review into the two-year-old’s tragic death has ruled her mom was neglectful — but Casey won’t face any new charges.
Casey Anthony was found NOT GULTY of murdering Caylee last month, but a child welfare report has condemned the 25-year-old for failing to protect her daughter. Should she be prosecuted?
Joe Follick, a spokesman for Florida’s Department of Children and Families, which published the report, explains, ‘The inactions by the mother were clearly failure to protect. As the child was found dead, obviously the failure to protect led to the death.”
That last sentence speaks volumes!
Casey was particularly criticized for failing to report Caylee missing for a whole month and then interfering with the search for her missing daughter by lying to the police.
The report isn’t a criminal investigation, and Casey CAN’T face any charges resulting from the findings.
Is this right, HollyMoms? Even if she didn’t kill Caylee — her actions lead to her daughter’s death. Should she be punished?
