No matter if you’re Team Jacob or Team Edward, you have to agree that this is ridiculous!

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Robert Pattinson reveals that at Bella and Edward’s wedding in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, the new Mrs. Cullen dances with Jacob before she dances with her husband! That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard!

“That was one of the funniest things as well, leading Bella [out to dance with Jacob,"] Robert told EW. “And that’s at our wedding, before I’ve even danced with her!”

This is a major departure from the book (Bella and Edward dance before Jacob shows up in the novel), and frankly makes me NOT want to see the movie. Why would a new wife want to dance with her old-pseudo boyfriend at her wedding to another man AT ALL, let alone BEFORE she dances with her husband? It doesn’t make any sense!

Throughout the movies, I’ve always felt that the filmmakers have been staunchly Team Jacob — but the one saving grace was the wedding. ‘How could they mess it up? There’s no way they could make this more about Jacob and Bella than Edward and Bella,’ I naively thought to myself. Wow, how wrong was I?

At this point, if I end up shelling out the $13.50 to see Breaking Dawn in theaters, I wouldn’t be surprised if Jacob pops up on Isle Esme during Edward & Bella’s honeymoon! (Oh man, I hope I didn’t just give Bill Condon any ideas!)
