It’s impossible to read the new interview with the pair in ‘Entertainment Weekly’ on newsstands tomorrow, without being impressed for their feelings for each other!
These two, who play lovers Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, in the Twilight films, reveal their own sweet, romantic relationship in 5 different ways through the course of their joint interview with Breaking Dawn director , Bill Condon and the mag.
#1) They are comfortable enough to tell each other to “shush,” during the interview. It happens almost immediately when Rob relates that Kristen was “really sweet when you first showed up” on set to play Bella. Kristen’s cute response to him: “shush”!
Later, when Kristen accuses Rob of “lying” when he claims he didn’t understand why Bella had a bond with Jacob when she was pregnant. Robert exclaims, “oh, shush,” and then laughs.
#2) Robert admits that in real life he would kick a guy for hitting on his wife at their wedding, like Jacob does to Bella.
Essentially, Rob is admitting here that he’d never be prepared to share the woman he loves – that would be Kristen — at “their” wedding. He explains that Edward strangely lets Jacob dance with Bella at their wedding, before he, Edward does.
“If that was reality, being a good man at that moment is going up and kicking the guy’s ass so hard that he won’t come back,” says Rob emphatically. (So don’t try it, Taylor Lautner!)
#3) Kristen teases Rob that “Jacob and Bella’s chemistry is better than it’s ever been” and Rob “faux-glares” at her and jokingly says “uncool.” Aww!
#4) Kristen admits that she genuinely got caught up in the emotion of the Bella and Edward wedding scene in Breaking Dawn.
Would she really have gotten that emotionally involved if her feelings for Rob didn’t run very deep? “I could see her getting sort of emotionally affected by it,” jokes Rob about her very real feelings. “I wanted to run down the aisle,” she confesses. “It was so volatile and emotional.“
#5) Robert admits again that he’d be totally jealous in real life if Kristen had a loving relationship with another man like Bella does with Jacob.
He relates that the Breaking Dawn scene where a pregnant Bella is literally throwing up while she’s dying and Jacob is hovering around calling her “baby” and saying “you don’t look too bad to me,” while Edward is sitting with bucket of Bella’s vomit, is ridiculous.
“That really wouldn’t happen. I should have thrown vomit at him,” Robert tells the interviewer.
So there it is — their attachment and affection is un-hideable. Rob fully admits he’d be jealous of another man making a move on Kristen. But Kristen reveals her feelings as she laughs, jokes and shushes while Robs talks.
It’s sweet and real and public.
