Suri Cruise's Mismatched Manicure & Pedicure! Is She Sparking A New Trend?

Not to mention the mini fashionista matches her nail color with her too-cute Barbie umbrella!

Suri Cruise is a fashion icon — even if she’s only 5-years-old. So, it’s not too surprising that the petite princess opted to paint her finger and toe nails different colors, obviously to spark a discussion on mani/pedi etiquette.

Some people believe that your nail polish should match on your hands and feet, while others have an ‘anything goes‘ type of policy. Unless you’re doing deep reds or wine colors — mismatch away!

And that’s exactly what Suri did — she opted for a hot pink manicure and a teal green pedicure. Weird combination, but hey it works! Oh, and it matches her awesome Barbie umbrella.

What’s your opinion on mismatching manicures and pedicures? VOTE!

I don’t know how to do it. I just feel better with everything matching, unless maybe the toes are a darker color or the two colors just kinda match each other well or they’re very similar, or if maybe one of them is a french mani/pedi.

lol, where i live it’s unnatural to match your mani padis. i was actually at the salon the other day, and when this lady chose to do her nails in the same color, the whole salon just looked at her!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a five year old pick out matching colors for their fingers and toes…

why is this poor child always in a sundress while the adults around her are wearing sweaters, coats, boots…… least she’s finally walking.

Oh really, there’s some rule that your toes must match your fingers? My daughter has been doing this on her own for awhile now. Actually, my daughter goes a step further and paints each one of her nails a different color, she’s 6, does that make her a trend-setter? Come on! This is just a little girl wanting to wear the colors she likes.

Everyone is so cruel and takes this so literally… Pull the sticks out of your asses and realize this is just a cute little article about a cute little kid… Smile about the innocence of youth.. Take a deep breath and realize that it is okay that Suri is more popular than your kid. Let her enjoy her moment in the spotlight and grow up.

Who the heck cares what a 5 year old does anyway? Why are you trying to make a “fashionista” out of her? Stupid.

I have never matched my finger nail polish to my toes. My fingers and toes are always different colors. This is not a new trend. In fact i don’t know anyone who matches their manicures to their pedicures. So there is no way that a 5 year old is “sparking a new trend” that has been around forever. It isn’t new.if she is a fashionista for this then i was one when i was 5 cause i have done this forever. and i can’t figure out why this article irritates me so much
