Is Kris Humphries getting cold feet?
With just ten days until he and Kim Kardashian exchange vows during their August 20 ceremony in Montecito, Calif., it appears that Kris may be getting pre-wedding jitters, and wants to savor his bachelorhood for just a bit longer.
“Time is moving fast,” he tweeted Wednesday afternoon, a seemingly obvious nod to his impending nuptials, and the pace at which his bride-to-be and her momager Kris Jenner are feverishly working at to pull off the extravagant wedding.
In fact, a source told a recent issue of In Touch, “She’s a stage mother with a type-A personality. She controls her daughters’ lives, and already she’s trying to control Kris’ as well. [Kris Jenner] turned into the mother-in-law from hell as soon as Kris proposed.”
The source claims that Kim’s mom even told Kris, “Kim isn’t becoming a Humphries. You’re becoming a Kardashian. Deal with it!”
The pressure from Kim’s mom may be par for the course—she is a mother-in-law, after all—but it’s the whirlwind nature of their engagement that’s wearing on Kris. After all, the wedding is less than three months after they announced their engagement!
