Ashley’s father hasn’t met J.P. yet, but from what he can tell, J.P. seems like a ‘good guy’ — especially ‘when he sat down with [Ashley] to comfort her after she was hurt by Bentley!’
For a long time Bachelorette Ashley Hebert was estranged from her father Greg Herbert — but recently the two have reconnected. But while they try and stay close, they only talk on the phone about every two weeks. Still, Greg is super happy that Ashley found love with J.P. Rosenbaum on The Bachelorette and can’t wait to meet him!
“I hope I get a chance to meet him and tell him how lucky he is,” Greg tells Star magazine. “The show was an emotional roller coaster for Ashley, but I trust her so much. She’s smart and she’s strong, and I totally support her choices in life.”
Greg thinks that he would like J.P. “If she likes him, I like him,” says Greg. “And I got the feeling he was a good guy when he sat down on the couch with her to comfort her after she was hurt by Bentley [Williams].”
As a dad, Greg only has one piece of advice for J.P. “I’d tell him to be honest with her,” he shares.
“There’s a happy ending waiting to happen for her,” notes Greg. “And if it’s a wedding, I’d be honored to attend.”
