Ben Flajnik To Be The Next ‘Bachelor’?

An insider says that Ben ‘is the favorite with the women trying out’ for ‘The Bachelor’! Has Ben already won the title of ‘Bachelor’?

Would ABC please just make up their minds about who is going to be the next Bachelor already? First it seemed that the network was priming Ryan Park for the role with all the air time they were giving him on Ashley Hebert‘s season of The Bachelorette. But now an insider reveals that producers are most likely going to pick Bachelorette runner-up Ben Flajnik, who was mislead by Ashley to believe that he was “the one” only to get dumped moments after he proposed!

Ben “is the favorite with the women trying out for the show, and the crew,” a source tells Us magazine. “Everyone wants him to find the woman of his dreams.”

Host Chris Harrison even thinks that Ben would be the best shot. “Our fans would love to see him as The Bachelor,” he says. “He’d be great.”

In fact, Chris believes Ashley was just a stepping stone for Ben — especially considering the fact that she was the first girl Ben got serious with since the death of his father. “That was his journey — to realize the man he really is,” explains Chris. “[Now] he’s in the right place to find love.”

“He’s eager to find his fiancee,” adds the insider. “As he proved with Ashley, he’s ready.”

And it seems Ames Brown, one of the other leading contenders for The Bachelor role, may have dropped out of the running because he’s supposedly getting serious with his Bachelor Pad 2 co-star Jackie Gordon. “He wants to give that his all,” reveals a source.
