This definitely came out of left field from the actress — maybe she was inspired by the alien theme of her new alien-themed film!

Olivia Wilde walked the red carpet at the Berlin premiere of Cowboys and Aliens in what, from the front, looked like a simple and stunning fitted black sheath dress with her normal bangs and what a appeared to be an updo. However, once the stunner turned her head, the look took a totally different turn with a futuristic looking ponytail!The high pony which fell all the way to the middle of her back was sectioned off at about every 3-4 inches with an elastic, creating a poof which made a bubble effect all the way down. The look is definitely something I have not seen done much before — especially not on a red carpet.

With the wild hairstyle, I’m glad Olivia kept the rest of the look quite simple, but was this still enough to make the look a winner? Let me know what YOU think, HollywoodLifers!
