Miranda Kerr: 'Breastfeeding Makes Me Feel Like A Milk Maid!' Can You Relate, Moms?

It takes a lot to keep a big healthy baby boy like Flynn Bloom fed and happy — and his mommy is feeling the strain!

Breastfeeding her baby son Flynn helped Miranda Kerr lose all her baby weight in record time — but she admits it’s the toughest job she’s ever had to do!

The Aussie model has fed Flynn the natural way since he was born in January — and when she’s separated from him on a modeling shoot, she hooks herself up to a breast pump so she can express milk to feed him with later.

“I am breastfeeding and pumping,” the 28-year-old tells Sydney’s Herald Sun. “When I am at work, I am pumping. I feel like a milk maid, but it is worth it.”

Flynn’s a BIG boy too — he weighed 10lbs at birth and has grown and grown since. Miranda must be making some good stuff!

Did you breastfeed and pump, HollyMoms? Is it as tough as Miranda says?

Im not the ignorant Courtney who commented above,, just clearing that up. I breast fed my son till he was a little over one and it was the best decision I made. It was a lot of hard work but I feel like it has major benefits that formula just can’t do.

Great for her to acknowledge how difficult it really is to nurse children. I have nursed both mine until they were over a year old. I also love how she posted pics of her nursing. BREAST IS BEST! Keep up the great work!

@Courtney: She doesn’t need to shut her trap! Re-read the article please. Great that you will nurse your future baby, and then maybe YOU can tell others YOUR opinion. Geez….

I totally agree with Zelda. She is being candid and that’s okay. She also says it’s worth it.

@Courtney: It’s tough work when it’s your first no matter if you have twins or not. I have breastfed both my kids.

When you are feeding a big baby, you feel like you have lost control of your body and can’t wait to gain it back. I’m not sure that I am explaining it correctly… Kudos for wanting to breastfeed tho.

I don’t have children yet but plan to nurse when I do if I’m able to do so. Miranda needs to shut her trap she’s far from the first celeb to nurse Celine Dion & Mariah Carey are both doing so with twins which is a lot harder. and besides now a days she can’t be fired for nursing/pumping in public like you could be back in the 70’s. the likes of her have the likes of Lynn Redgrave to thank for that
