According to the Guinness World Records, Whitney Houston is the the most awarded female singer of all time and she’s one of the world’s best-selling music artists, selling over 180 million albums and singles worldwide.As of 2010, Whitney has won a total of 415 career awards including two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards, 22 American Music Awards. She got her start by touring in night clubs and occasionally performing with mom, Cissy.
In 2007, she gained full custody of daughter Bobbi Christina, who she had with former husband and fellow musician Bobby Brown.
