Taylor gives HollywoodLife.com her best advice exclusively about how you should live your life and make the best decisions daily!

Taylor Swift has got her head on straight! HollywoodLife.com spoke with Taylor, 21, backstage at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards after she won the coveted Ultimate Choice Award in LA on Aug. 7 and we have to tell you — she’s wise beyond her years!

“I think the best advice that I ever got as a teenager was to think about your actions,” she tells us. “Because if you are 80 years old looking back, you know if your dad calls you at 8 in the morning and wants to go to breakfast, as a teenager you are like, ‘No I want to sleep,’ and as an 80 year old looking back, you go to breakfast with your dad. Its just those little decisions like that.”

When Taylor won her award she hugged her besties Selena Gomez, Ashley Greene, Emma Stone and Justin Bieber! But don’t expect this grounded celeb to be rocking out to country or even pop music on her iPod!

“Right now I am really going through a Beach Boys phase and listening to like Beach Boys and the Sharones,” she says. “Like all kinds of 50s and 60s music.”

Even the music she listens to is wholesome. Taylor really is Hollywood’s best role model!
