Should You Avoid Encounters With An Ex Or Brave It Out Like Demi Lovato & Taylor Swift Did With Joe Jonas?

Both girls attended the Teen Choice Awards knowing they’d run into the man that broke their hearts

When it comes to love, it’s a fact that Joe Jonas is a bonafied heartbreaker. He’s called it quits with a bevy of beauties including Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato and Ashley Greene. Unfortunately, all three of his exes were in attendance at the Teen Choice Awards last night. Should they have stayed home to avoid seeing him or held their heads up high and braved the show as they did? Should YOU avoid awkward encounters with your ex? Although the 21-year-old singer seems to have matured with ending his latest relationship, he’s known to be a bit of a cad when calling it quits.

He and Twilight starlet Ashley, 24, simply broke up due to their busy schedules. She was seen out with a string of hotties after their split, refusing to let any grass grow under her feet.

Taylor and Demi didn’t fare as well.

He was best friends with 18-year-old Demi, and still told the world that it was he who did the dumping, saying, “I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now. It was my choice to breakup, but I love her as a friend.” He then brought Ashley on tour to rub salt in the wound.

He broke 21-year-old Taylor’s heart as well by dumping her over the phone. “You know what it’s like, when I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful. … When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18. … I looked at the call log — it was like 27 seconds. That’s got to be a record,” she has said.

All three girls got their revenge at the Teen Choice Awards Sunday night, however, by winning awards while Joe left empty-handed. Taylor took home a whopping five surfboards including the Ultimate Choice Award, Demi walked away with two including the Acuve Inspiration Award and Ashley was awarded the Choice Scene Stealer prize.

Knowing that he broke the hearts of Demi and Taylor, at least, should they have attended the awards show? What should you do in a similar situation?

Of course the girls should have gone! They — and you — should never hide from an ex. It’ s letting him have power over you all over again.

Why hide at home? Take the opportunity to prove that you’ve moved on. Do as these ladies did and look completely fabulous. You don’t have to receive an award to come out a winner. When you look amazing and feel confident, he’ll realize that you’re not pining for him anymore, that you’re strong and happy with your life.

Never let someone you’ve loved in the past prevent you from living your life in the present.

I’m sick of all those Jemi fans that are all like, “Get back together!” because Jemi is dead, understand that. Demi is strong and she doesn’t need that Jonas dude to make her happy.

jfc when will people get over the breakup with Taylor Swift, it happened 3 years ago when he was 19, they dated for a very brief time, she was out of town, he called her she hung up on him. The call lasted however long she wanted it to last, wich was 27 seconds. With Demi he was harsher, he made his dad break up with her wich is humiliating but it’s in the past, Demi will find ‘the one’ on day and so will Taylor. Demi will find that guy that will respect her and love her. Joe clearly isn’t, wasn’t and will never be that guy. He will end up unhappy later in life, just watch. Taylor well she will continue what she’s doing dating everyone.

Stop of saying lies! Joe breaks up with Lovato in person FACE TO FACE. And Lovato saying in her twitter: “There are so many crazy rumors flying around today.” “Joe and I did split, but it wasn’t over the phone. Things didn’t work out but we’ll remain friends.”
4 month after, Joe attended Lovato’s birthday party, they was still friends clearly and Joe was with Ashley in these time. The friendship was broken for cause de Demi, she is bipolar, remember, she ditched Selena to make more friends.
Don’t believe the rumors until one of them says its true.

yes, Ashley dumped him, she cheated on him too, but for Hollywood Life all the girls are victim always. And Joe is a heartbreaker because he dumped only 2 girls!!
