Plus, Charlotte reveals why you probably shouldn’t expect to see her on Twitter anytime soon. Or ever.
Wetting her pants in public was only the beginning for Holly J. During a recent visit to Degrassi‘s Toronto set, Charlotte Arnold told me all about the “unreal” drama her character faces in season 11 — we’ll be getting our first taste of her troubles this week — and how “it makes her look at everything in a completely different way.”
“I remember reading it in the read-through and being like, ‘What? This is unreal!’” she said of Holly J’s “Now or Never” story line, which deals with both her declining health and her family life. “But I guess it makes sense.”
She also addressed the question on every Degrassi fan’s mind: Why she’s one of the only cast members not on Twitter!
“My initial aversion to Twitter was just that I didn’t … feel like it was for me,” she said. “Different strokes.”
