The American actor and writer turns 51 today! Just slightly over the hill…
David William Duchovny is best known for starring in The X-Files and Californication. He played FBI Agent Fox Mulder and Hank Moody, which he won respective Golden Globes for. The actor got his start in 1987 when he appeared in an ad for Löwenbräu beer. He is a former vegetarian and current pescatarian, and appeared on People‘s Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People.
In 1997 David married actress Tea Leoni, and together they have two kids, Madelaine West and Kyd Miller. It was announced in 2008 the pair had separated.
“On the one hand, people think they own kids,” the star once revealed, ”they feel that they have the right to tell the kids what to do. On the other hand, people envy kids. We’d like to be kids our whole lives. Kids get to do what they do. They live on their instincts.”
