Elle Macpherson will hunt for America’s next big fashion star on NBC’s upcoming — and very appropriately titled — reality show Fashion Star this fall, and now HollywoodLife.com can exclusively report that How Do I Look? host Jeannie Mai will join her as the show’s Digital Fashionista! Jeannie will chat with the winning designers on-air, and continue the conversation online with celebrity mentors Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos!
She’ll also give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the show with a series of 10 online videos, which you’ll be able to check out at NBC.com/FashionStar.
Jeannie took over hosting duties for Style Network’s Emmy-nominated How Do I Look? in 2009, and has been a regular fashion correspondent on shows like Today, Extra, and E!’s The Daily 10.

I used to love watching How do i look, but when they change the host to Jeannie Mai, I am not too keen to watch this show anymore. Jeannie Mai is quite mean. She said its tough love, but she end up looking like a snob. Why do you have to break that lady spirit and humiliate them into changing their wardrobe? That is just mean….Just look at what she wears, half the time is a bit too much anyway, And why is she wearing that much make up during day time…?
