Who do YOU think killed Alison? The evidence against pretty-boy Jason sure seems to be piling up!
Aria (Lucy Hale) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) played Charlie’s Angels on the Aug. 2 episode of Pretty Little Liars, dressing up like candy stripers to sneak into the morgue and uncover the truth about Alison’s death. Emily (Shay Mitchell), on the other hand, didn’t need a special disguise to sneak into the hospital; she was admitted after collapsing from a stomach ulcer in the middle of the hallway!
As you might have suspected, “A” was very much responsible for Emily’s little health scare. Wren — aka Dr. Accent — revealed, there were large traces of human growth hormone found in Emily’s system, leading him to believe she’d been taking steroids to swim better. Little did he know “A” has been sneaking the HGH into Emily’s food!
The girls also uncovered yet another shocking discovery about Alison’s death from documents they stole from the morgue: The object she was hit with definitely hockey stick-like — let’s all start pointing fingers at Jason — and Alison ultimately died from swallowing too much dirt. That’s right, she was buried alive!
Speaking of things being buried, we really might be inching closer to the end of Ezra (Ian Harding) and Aria’s relationship. He asked her point-blank if he should be worried about Jason (Drew Van Acker), and even though she said no, we all saw her lie about ignoring Jason’s phone call at the end of the episode.
Meanwhile, Hanna (Ashley Benson) was busy helping Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) deal with his own little undercover problem. It turns out some dude has been following Caleb around town, watching his every move, and Hanna is really starting to worry. She eventually told the creeper off at the end of the episode, but I have a feeling we haven’t seen the last of him.
And if I had to give a hug to one character this week — besides Emily, of course — it would be Hanna’s mom (Laura Leighton.) When she got Hanna’s dad’s wedding invitation in the mail this week and realized their weeks-long love affair was going nowhere fast, it broke my heart. It also clearly broke Hanna’s, so I’d give her a hug too, I guess.
