We are always on the lookout for the cutest summer hairstyles so that YOU can get the looks, but is Katie Holmes’ ponytail steal-worthy or best left in the past?
The actress went for a high ponytail with a lot of added height at the crown to really give her hair a good lift. Personally, I think this look really lends to her fresh face and makes her look years younger. A high ponytail is like a natural face-lift!
Notice how at the base of her ponytail she wrapped a piece of hair around the hair band so that it’s completely concealed. This is an easy way to make a “casual” hairstyle more chic. Just leave a piece of hair around the front of your hair loose while you pull the rest up and tie it with a hair band. Then, take the loose piece of hair, wrap it around the base of the ponytail and tuck it into the band! It’s that easy.
