They’re such frugal royalty! Prince William & Kate flew home from Zara Phillips’ wedding in Scotland to Wales on an economy flight!
Prince William and Kate Middleton may be royalty, but they’re just like us — they have no reservations about flying commercial!
William and Kate, both 29, attended the July 30 wedding of his cousin Zara Phillips and English rugby player Mike Tindall. When they returned home, they stunned onlookers by flying economy on Flybe, the Daily Mail reports.
The couple took the flight — a one hour jump from Edinburgh to Manchester — with security, but apparently went through check-in procedures just like everyone else!
Meanwhile, Prince Harry followed suit by taking an economy EasyJet flight both to and from London, paying only about $28 per trip!
