Courtney, who is the age of a high school junior, is taking precautions so she will not get pregnant by her new husband Doug Hutchison, who is older than her father.
Courtney Alexis Stodden and Doug Hutchison shocked, and angered, many when it was announced the 16-year-old aspiring pop star had married the 51-year-old actor. Luckily things shouldn’t be getting worse any time soon as Courtney’s mother has revealed she is on the pill and won’t be getting pregnant.
Krista Stodden, the proud mother of the bride, tells Radar Online, “[Courtney]‘s on birth control because she would prefer to wait for children. I think Doug would love to have children, but Courtney wants to wait a few years.” There goes the pair’s shot for a spot on 16 & Pregnant.
Krista went on to say, “Courtney wants to work on her career.” Maybe Courtney could work on finishing high school instead.
