Casey was wrongly set free when she was released from jail on July 17 — she should have immediately been placed on one year’s supervised probation.
Casey Anthony has been ordered back to Orlando Florida, just two weeks after she was released from jail, to begin supervised probation for check fraud charges.
Officials have admitted they wrongly believed Casey had served the probation she was sentenced to last year, while in jail awaiting trial accused of murdering her two-year-old daughter, Caylee.
Orange County Judge Stan Strickland spotted the error and quickly amended documents which means Casey has to return to her hometown within three days.
The judge says, “She should be reporting to probation in Orlando probably within 72 hours.”
Strickland gave Casey the sentence in 2010 after she was convicted of stealing a friend’s checkbook and forging checks.
It’s not yet known where Casey will spend the next 12 months — and how much freedom she’ll have — but the new ruling WILL end speculation about her whereabouts. She’ll have to spend a year in Orlando just miles from where Caylee was found dead.
Are you glad we now know where Casey will be?
