The singer allegedly bought enough drugs to go on a massive binge before her death — do YOU think that’s how she met her demise?

Amy Winehouse lived a life marked by addiction, and one of her junkie friends is claiming she died after buying a MASSIVE amount of drugs!

Amy, who died at 27, purchased a large amount of drugs, the street value of which nears $2,000, the Daily Mirror reports. She left with both a half an once of crack and heroin — more than enough to overdose on.

“I want Amy’s family to know the truth about what happened,” says Tony Azzopardi, who reportedly fixed her up with the dealer. ”I want to help them out – but I’m worried about my safety.”

He also says that even with the amount of drugs she bought, he was surprised to hear she had died.

“She looked good, you know, fit,” he said. “Like she’d been clean for a while and filled out a bit. I couldn’t believe it when I found out she was gone.”
