Is that the burnt bread that Peeta gives Katniss when she’s hungry?

Newly released images from the highly anticipated Hunger Games, which hits theaters in March of 2012, have been released! In them, we see Gale and Katniss hunting, as well as Peeta standing outside his parents’ bakery.

A pivotal point of the novel centers around Peeta giving bread to a starved Katniss, risking a beating from his mother. Although the incident happens when they are young children, we can’t help but wonder if the photo of Josh Hutcherson standing outside with a burnt loaf has something to do with this scene.
