LuAnn tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY how upset she is about Ramona attacking her family — and Jill Zarin agrees that Ramona was completely out of line!

During The Real Housewives of New York City Reunion Part 1 that aired on Bravo on July 25, drama broke lose when Ramona Singer attacked Countess LuAnn de Lesseps‘ parenting skills and failed marriage. Ramona made statements referring to LuAnn having an “open marriage” at the end — and also slammed LuAnn for how she raised her daughter. LuAnn tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that she’s very upset by how Ramona acted — and her co-star Jill Zarin comes to LuAnn’s defense that Ramona shouldn’t have gone after LuAnn’s private matters!

“It was very upsetting that I have women that are attacking an old marriage when I’m finally happy and I have a new relationship,” LuAnn confesses. “The only thing that they could pull out of their hat was to attack my old marriage which is very desperate. I find that they would use my family as a way of getting to me — I think it’s the lowest of the low.”

LuAnn can’t believe that Ramona would say negative words about her daughter. “She has no moral threshold,” explains LuAnn. “It’s very upsetting to have a woman — we’ve been in this together since the beginning — that has no moral standards or doesn’t keep her word first of all and second of all that she would go so low to go after my children. That’s just not OK.”

“She should be more supportive as a woman of how hard it is to raise two children and teenagers on your own and to have a family and be a single parent is not easy,” continues LuAnn. “Ramona can be unreasonable.”

Jill found Ramona’s actions completely unacceptable. “Ramona was being hypocritical,” reveals Jill. “For the last couple of seasons, Ramona has been relentless about exposing LuAnn’s problems in her marriage, talking about LuAnn cheating, and saying all these things. [And] we agreed four years ago when we started filming that children were off limits.”

“She wouldn’t give it up,” adds Jill. “It’s one thing to sort of say something, we all sort of slip in the heat of the moment and say things we shouldn’t say. And even when it was brought to her attention, she didn’t stop.”

Ramona should have left LuAnn’s daughter out of it. “God forbid her [Ramona's] daughter ever goes through a tough time in her life and to have one her co-stars bring attention to it,” says Jill. “Ramona and LuAnn had talked about some issues and agreed to not talk about it on the show — and she broke her promise. I couldn’t stand to witness it. I was angry. I was very protective.”
