Constance Meester is using Leighton’s sick brother as leverage for cash — what an awful human being!
Leighton Meester recently shocked fans by suing her mother Constance for mismanaging funds set aside for her sick brother to get plastic surgery. But Constance is shooting right back, suing Leighton because she claims she “sacrificed her happiness” in order to give Leighton a career — and is owed $10,000 a month for the rest of her life! We think Constance is absolutely the worst mom ever — she’s even using Leighton’s sick little brother Alexander as ammunition against the Gossip Girl star!
Leighton, 25, is being accused of telling her brother — who recently had brain surgery — that she would cut off payment for his medical issues if he didn’t move away from Constance’s house! E! News has the full suit, and that’s certainly the most crazy allegation. We can’t help but be enraged on Leighton’s behalf — to make that accusation is super-slimy, and doesn’t even make much sense. After all, Leighton’s lawsuit against her mother was for the misappropriation of funds to HELP her brother — why would Leighton file the suit in the first place if she was trying to jeopardize Alexander’s health?
Furthermore, the suit alleges that Constance deserves $10,000 per month because she “sacrificed her happiness” to pay for Leighton’s acting lessons and giving her the chance to succeed in Hollywood. This huge payment would help to fund things like Constance’s house and health insurance, which have gone into foreclosure and lapsed, respectively. The suit alleges Leighton is just not keeping up with payments — which must be tough for Constance, because she refuses to get a job.
We think this suit reeks of Constance leeching off of Leighton’s success, and Leighton has been more than generous in taking care of her family — even if certain members don’t deserve it. The biggest priority for the Meesters should be Alexander’s health — and Leighton is the only one who firmly has her priorities in check!
