But the labor wasn’t easy. Lauryn endured quite the scare during the delivery on July 23, but thankfully, is doing well.
Lauryn Hill welcomed her sixth child, a baby boy who’s yet to be named, on Saturday, July 23, after keeping her pregnancy a secret for months. But this time, the delivery was not as special as her previous five. Aside from having a severe labor scare, Lauryn’s long-time beau and baby daddy Rohan Marley claims he’s NOT the father of her newborn son and has reportedly moved on from their relationship with Brazilian model, Isabelli Fontana.
A source close to Lauryn, 36, confirmed the baby news to TheBoomBox.com and announced, “Mother and baby are fine,” after having “a little scare because the baby came out the womb with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck.”
“All is well now and everyone is happy,” the source added.
We hope Lauryn can get past her breakup with Rohan and bask in her new baby. It’s such a special time!
