Jen’s forgetting all about her soon-to-be ex Marc Anthony as she celebrates her birthday with two dinners, shopping and boating on a private yacht!
Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 42nd birthday in style over the weekend with a three-day long party in Miami. Kicking off the weekend on Friday July 22, Jennifer grabbed some sun by the pool at her condo building at the Icon Brickell. Later that evening, she had an intimate dinner party at the recently renovated Miami landmark, The Forge. The party continued on Saturday July 23 as Jen did some shopping at the Bal Harbour before having another b-day dinner at The Fountainebleau’s Scarpetta restaurant. And Sunday, Jen enjoyed time on a private yacht!
HollywoodLife.com was the first to tell you that Jen spent Friday by the pool with her family, getting a tan. That night, she dined at The Forge with her manager and good friend Benny Medina, her stylist and six other women, a source tells us. They arrived at about 10:30 p.m.
Jennifer entered the restaurant through the side door that’s utilized for celebrities and VIPs, says the insider. She looked hot in her long Pucci dress and gold Louboutin sandals.
For dinner, the group ordered Lobster PB&J’s sandwiches, shares the source. They dined in the “private cellar” surrounded by expensive bottles of wine. The best part of the meal had to have been the chocolate souffle served while the staff sang her “Happy Birthday” in Acapella and toasted her with champagne. J.Lo and her crew parted at about 1:00 a.m.
On Saturday, J.Lo headed north to do some shopping at Bal Harbour. She picked up some outfits for her twins at Bonpoint of Paris — and also stopped in Hermes, Dolce & Gabanna, Valentino and Pucci.
That night, Jen along with Benny, her mom and some close friends had dinner at Scarpetta’s at the The Fountainebleau arriving about 11:00 p.m., another insider tells us. No men besides Benny and the boyfriend of one of her girlfriends attended the dinner.
For the main course, the group chowed down on spaghetti tomato basil and foie gras ravioli, reveals the source. The group stayed late in the night and Jen even broke out in tune, singing some of Donna Summer‘s music. After dinner ended, Jen and her pals headed off the property.
Sunday, the fun continued in the sun as Jen was spotted cruising around the Miami coastline on a private yacht called “Never Say Never” with her family, friends and of course Benny. Jen, in her Pucci bikini and scarf, got up and danced for a bit as they enjoyed the afternoon.
As we also told you, Jennifer was surprised with a lemon cake in the shape of a Lion’s head on her actual birthday July 24. It was custom made by Ana Paz Cakes in Dural, Fla.
