Great news for fans of the original trio! They’ll be hanging around long after graduation.
Remember a few weeks ago when Glee creator Ryan Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter that Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer wouldn’t be returning for the show’s fourth season? Well, co-creator Brad Falchuk sang a very different tune at Comic-Con this weekend, telling fans that just “because they’re graduating, [that] doesn’t mean they’re leaving the show.”
“Here’s the exact thing: [Rachel, Kurt and Finn] are seniors, so they’re graduating,” Brad said on the panel, which was modified by Michael Ausiello, Editor-in-Chief of HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site, TVLine. “[But] if you have Lea Michele under contract, you don’t say, ‘We’re gonna let you go.’ … It was never our plan or our intention to let them go. … They are not done with the show after this season.”
