We can’t wait to see Edward and Bella’s much-anticipated love scene on their honeymoon and Bill Condon explains why he didn’t make it very explicit!

Bill Condon gave Comic-Con viewers a preview of Edward and Bella’s honeymoon last week — which has now leaked on the Internet — and he explains why he didn’t show the sex scene. “The question was do we want to show the sex, which would have been crazy and great, but I thought we should hold back on that,” Bill told the LA Times. One thing he did reveal was why Edward and Bella, played by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, had such a romantic scene together when they did film their love scene.

“No one wants to see — no one needs to see a full-on sex scene to have the incredibly intense experience that they’re making love, you know?” Bill told our sister site Movieline. “And it’s more romantic. The same with the birth; I think it’s very visceral, but it doesn’t necessarily need close-ups of certain things.”

Incredibly intense experience?! Ahh! We wish the movie was out tomorrow!

Does hearing how romantic the sex scene will be make you even MORE excited for Breaking Dawn? Is that even possible?
