Ryan Park returns to try and win Ashley back, but she’s not feeling it — and Constantine tells Ashley he can’t see a future with her!
Bachelorette Ashley Hebert heads to Fiji with her three remaining guys — J.P. Rosenbaum, Ben Flajnik and Constantine Tzortzis — during the July 25 episode. While Ashley is confronted by unexpected and returning eliminee Ryan Park, Ashley not only says goodbye to him again but also faces a crushing heartbreak when Constantine decides to go home. He tells her that he has no romantic impulses towards her!
The show kicks off with Ryan’s return. As Ashley’s getting ready to go on a date, Ryan knocks on her door completely suprising her with the visit. She invites him in and Ryan blurts out what sounds to be a planned plea.
“In Taiwan finally we have our one-and-one and it was great,” Ryan rambles. “When we were sitting there having our picnic, I didn’t see it coming at all. I went home and I got right back into the swing of things, right back into work, but I kept thinking … I really feel like we didn’t get to see this through, so I called Chris. I know I’m not supposed to do this. I have to see you again and say this. All I’m asking for — I feel that we didn’t have a full chance. I don’t know if you regretted anything. If that’s in your mind at all, I want to spend more time with you so bad. There was something there.”
Ryan leaves Ashley to think. “I did wonder if I made the right decision,” Ashley does question momentarily.
Ashley puts Ryan on the back burner and heads to her date with Ben. They go on a private yacht and have a chat about Ben’s mom approving of Ashley. “I can be goofy. I can be serious. I can be everything around Ben,” Ashley gushes. “I can see myself with this guy forever.”
At dinner Ben opens up. ”I am on my way to, you know, to the whole I love you thing,” he fesses. They kiss and head to the fantasy suite and take a dip in their private pool. Ben then carries Ashley inside.
Ashley’s next date is with Constantine. They take a helicopter ride and then jump off of a waterfall, but the date ends with Ashley in tears. He tells her he’s not into her!
“The fantasy date — I know what it means and what it implies,” Constantine tells Ashley over dinner. “I knew if I got to this point and I wasn’t in love with you I wouldn’t accept it.”
“I’m glad you’re honest,” Ashley replies. “I guess this is goodbye.”
Constantine feels bad, but he couldn’t lead Ashley on. “My biggest fear was hurting Ashley or embarassing her,” he admits. “I was absolutely ready to find it [love] had it been there.”
After Constantine says goodbye, Ashley faces Ryan and tells him she made the rigth decision by sending him home.
Now to Ashley’s real relationship. Ashley runs into J.P.’s arms and it’s clear that they are so in love! “I’m ready for the end,” J.P. tells Ashley as they play in the water. “I want this to be over and that it’s me.”
During the dinner portion of their date, J.P. reveals his concern about the other guys. But Ashley shares that she said goodbye to Constantine and Ryan again.
“I want Ashley to be my wife,” J.P. announces. “I’m afraid of getting hurt again. But I’m on my way to overcoming that fear.”
“When I look at him, I feel like I could smile forever,” says Ashley before she walks out in her pjs. They fall to the bed kissing and cuddling.
Ashley moves forward with Ben and J.P. as Constantine left on his own terMs and Ashley would not take Ryan back.
