Amy’s friends say she was unafraid to join the tragic ’27 Club’ of dead-too-soon musicians!
New sources are reporting Amy Winehouse knew she was going to be die at age 27 — just like some of her favorite music superstars.
Commonly referred to as the ‘27 Club,’ several high-profile rock stars all died at age 27 — including Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Brian Jones and later Kurt Cobain. And the Daily Mirror reports she thought she was ready to die and join the legacy.
“Amy never wanted to die in obscurity, to die having never made a record as good as Back To Black,” a friend of Amy’s said. “It was almost as if she wanted to die young, to leave a legacy, and to be remembered for her music and her voice. Sadly, she was all too aware of the 27 Club and was never scared to join it.”

She knew she was going to be die? Please you people need to learn to proof read. I’ve read so many articles with silly mistakes like this and it makes you look very unprofessional.

If she made a statement like this before she died why don’t you post a link to that interview? Instead, you ask some random people, I suppose we are suppose to believe this. It’s real easy to say something after someone is gone.

jajaja pero claro que la morra quería pertenecer al club de los 27, no hay una entrevista como tal para subirla pero oí el rumor hace como 3 meses y miren….casualidad???? Amy! no era para tanto morra! jaja,cantabas chido pero pues….así así como que un ícono de la Pachamama no se me hace…como siempre es solo mi punto de vista (sorry for nor writting in english…)

I what kd meant was that Amy was a jazz singer, not a rock star. Maybe just as famous…but a different kind of music altogether.
