Amy’s cause of death will not be revealed for a few more weeks as more toxicology tests are completed.

Amy Winehouse‘s cause of death will remain a mystery a little longer as an early autopsy was inconclusive in determining what ended the young singer’s life. Metropolitan Police in London told US Weekly, “We are awaiting the results of further toxicology tests.”

While foul play has been ruled out, Amy’s parents Mitch and Janis will still have to wait to set a date for their daughter’s funeral as more tests and a police investigation are conducted.

The 27-year-old singer passed away July 23 at her home in London with many believing drugs and alcohol played a major role.
