The Columbian-American actor of the screen and stage celebrates 47 today!
John Leguizamo is also a producer, voice artist, and comedian. He began his television career in Miami Vice, but this year he’s lighting up Broadway!
He stars as himself in Ghetto Klown, his sixth Broadway play. In 1998 he won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding One-Person Show in Freak. John is best known for his voice as Sid in Ice Age and Ice Age 2: The Meltdown.
In 2003, the actor married his wife Justine Maurer and together they have two kids; a daughter Allegra Sky and son Ryder Lee.
“With kids, the days are long, but the years are short,” he once said of parenting.
