Arnold’s eldest children Patrick and Katherine took to Twitter to thank everyone for their support, but tell followers to keep ‘praying’ for their brother Christopher, who is in the ICU!

The entire Schwarzenegger clan is rallying together during this very difficult time. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver‘s son, Christopher, 13, was involved in a serious boogie boarding accident while at the beach with his mother on July 17 in Malibu. Christopher’s older brother Patrick, 17, and sister Katherine, 21, went on their Twitter to ask supporters to continue to pray.Katherine went on Twitter July 22 breaking her silence for the first time about the accident:

“Thank you guys for ur concern and prayers for my baby brother! He’s a tough little guy and getting better! Please keep praying for him! Xo”

Patrick echoed his sister’s concerns by saying: Thank you everyone for your messages about my brother. This kid is strongest kid I ever seen. Keep praying.”

Although new reports claim the hospital has upgraded Christopher’s condition to “okay”, his family is still keeping a vigilant watch. Maria has reportedly been at Christoper’s bedside for the past six days.

“A few days ago our son Christopher suffered an accident at the beach.  While it has been a very scary week, Christopher is surrounded by his family and friends.  He is a brave boy and is expected to make a full recovery,” reads a statement from Arnold and Maria, TMZ reports.

In the meantime, Arnold responded to Maria’s July 1 divorce filing by serving his own papers. In the filing, Arnold asked the court to refuse spousal support for Maria.
