The troubled golf star splits with his caddie after 12 long years together!
Tiger Woods announced Wednesday that he will be separating from his caddie, Steve Williams, after being with him since 1999. The news from the golf pro, who is currently absent from the PGA tour to rehabilitate his left leg, is another chapter in Tiger’s big book of sex, lies, and deceit.
Posted on his website, Tiger wished his caddie the best for his future. “I want to express my deepest gratitude to Stevie for all his help, but I think it’s time for a change. Stevie is an outstanding caddie and a friend and has been instrumental in many of my accomplishments. I wish him great success in the future.” Despite leading his partner to 13 major championships, Steve said he lost respect for the pro after his 2009 sex scandal.
“Well, I think when you’re great friends with somebody and a situation like this occurs, you obviously lose some kind of respect,” he revealed to the New York Post. “First of all, the person has to gain your respect, and that’s something that I feel Tiger has to work hard on.” And Tiger is no stranger to hard-ons!
