Poor J Lo – is she still harboring feelings for love of her life, Ben Affleck? Her mom Gaudalupe reached out to Ben for advice? Was she doing at her daughter’s request?
Remember “Bennifer?” Jennifer Lopez‘s mother, Guadalupe, sure does! She reportedly reached out to her daughter’s ex-fiancé, Ben Affleck, seeking advice as J. Lo prepared to separate from Marc Anthony. “[Guadalupe] always liked and trusted [Ben]” a source tells Us Weekly. “He replied back on email, wished her well and offered what he could.”
That e-mail correspondence reportedly went down July 12 — three whole days before J. Lo and Marc officially announced their split.
And as you no doubt remember, longtime lovers J. Lo and Ben ended their engagement in Jan. 2004. (Something tells us Ben’s wife, Jennifer Garner, wouldn’t be too pleased about those e-mails!) And the thing is, Jen started seeing ex-lover Marc Anthony almost immediately after splitting from Ben. Literally days later. Did she ever get completely over him?
Meanwhile, J. Lo isn’t letting the divorce get her down. At a private concert July 19 in the Ukraine, she told her audience: “I am happy!”
